LISA FARNELL - ASSOCIATE

I grew up in a traditional household where Mum stayed home, Dad worked, and nobody ever talked about money. Somehow, I muddled through and saved for things I wanted, but I didn’t understand much about anything financial. In fact, when I finished university (a Bachelor of Commerce degree), I still didn’t know anything about superannuation! Despite this, I managed to save for a house, move to the other side of the country and enjoy a good lifestyle.

In 1998, I was running a regional sporting event. The Committee Chair was a financial advisor and when the event was done and dusted, he asked me to join him. This led me to do my Diploma in Financial Planning. I’ve loved the last 25 years of working closely with clients to turn their hopes and dreams into a financial reality.

I've always valued my strong client relationships and been conscious of the privileged part I play in their lives. Merging our operations at Financial Solutions Geraldton with HPH Solutions made a lot of sense when you consider how strong the HPH client-focused ethos is.

I'm loving working with a big team again, all with varied experiences and ideas united by a common goal of helping people improve their financial wellbeing.
