My first experience with investing began surprisingly early through collecting and sorting Pokémon cards, many of which I still own today. While some may hold monetary value, the memories attached to them are far more meaningful to me than anything money could buy. It was an initial “investment” I am genuinely glad I made.

A few years later, that curiosity evolved into buying and selling cryptocurrencies during high school, often from the back of the classroom, using money I had saved from working at my local fish and chip shop. Within a few weeks, I lost all my savings. Despite this, the experience sparked a deep interest in the movement of money and how individual actions connect to the broader economy.

When I began university, I initially saw myself pursuing a more traditional, behind the scenes role in finance. I was drawn to working with numbers and data, but I had not yet fully appreciated the broader impact finance can have on people’s lives. Over time, this perspective shifted as I learned more about the role of a financial planner. It highlighted the opportunity to provide guidance that supports not only financial stability but also emotional wellbeing. Combined with my enjoyment of connecting with people and learning from their experiences, this led me to pursue a career in financial planning.

Since joining HPH Solutions, I have greatly valued the strong sense of camaraderie within the team and the opportunity to continuously learn and apply strategies that deliver meaningful outcomes for clients. Being part of a team focused on making a genuine difference in people’s lives is highly motivating to me. My goal is to become a fully qualified financial planner and continue to develop my knowledge, aiming to build lasting client relationships and helping individuals achieve their ideal financial future.
