WILL PYNE - CLIENT SERVICES ASSOCIATE
Growing up in the suburbs of Perth as the middle child in a family of five, I was often seen as the quiet one. Throughout high school, I wasn’t sure what path I wanted to take in life and what career I wanted to pursue. A family move during my senior years of high school led me to a new school, where I was introduced to subjects like accounting and finance which sparked an interest.
Going to university, I became increasingly drawn to finance throughout my commerce degree where I majored in finance and management. I was fascinated by how it influences people’s decisions and can significantly impact people's lives. Whilst in university, I worked part-time in healthcare administration, where I enjoyed engaging with patients and saw firsthand how I can positively impact their health and wellbeing. I also joined an investment club during university, gaining exposure to financial markets and portfolio management where we were able to make investment decisions based on research from investment firms.
After graduating, I knew I wanted to use my degree to help others. Financial planning stood out as a career that allowed me to empower people and help them build financial literacy, improve their financial position, and ultimately give them the freedom to make confident decisions about their financial future.
I am proud and excited to be a part of the HPH team, and I'm looking forward to developing my skills in becoming a qualified financial planner.
