HPH Solutions financial planners aim to maximise the probability of you achieving your goals and to help you make smart decisions with your money. Our practical approach to financial planning is as follows:

  1. Discovery Meeting (obligation free)
  2. Engagement Meeting (obligation free)
  3. Complete Fact-Find
  4. Implementation and Administration
  5. Ongoing Review

STEP 1. Discovery Meeting (obligation free)

The first meeting with an HPH Solutions financial planner is a “Discovery Meeting”. The aim of this meeting is for you (and your partner/spouse) to:

  • Meet your dedicated adviser
  • Articulate your life goals, needs and values
  • Discuss your current financial situation
  • Understand the services HPH Solutions offers and gain a high level understanding of how we may be able to assist you

HPH Solutions conducts all fact-finding sessions and initial diagnosis for you at their own expense. There is no cost to you and absolutely no obligation for you to proceed. An agreed fixed fee is only charged when you accept our financial proposition.

STEP 2. Engagement Meeting (obligation free)

HPH Solutions will only invite you to become a client if we believe that we can add significant value to your financial position and if there is a “good fit” between yourself and our Company.

At the Engagement Meeting, you receive a Terms of Engagement Proposal which summarises how HPH Solutions proposes to help you achieve your goals, address any “financial gaps” and assist with streamlining the administration of your finances.  Each document is specifically prepared for your individual circumstances and takes into account the issues identified as being of key importance to you.

Your adviser will also go through the fees associated with HPH Solutions services.  HPH Solutions is one of the few “fixed fee for service” financial planning companies in Perth which means that our fee structure is determined by your needs, the complexity of your finances and the value we can add to your financial position, rather than by how much money you have or earn.

At this time you can choose to engage HPH Solutions or take some time to consider the proposal.

STEP 3. Financial Planning Fact-Find

Once you engage HPH Solutions as your financial planning firm, we get to work obtaining a thorough and complete picture of your current finances.  It is important for us to have an accurate, up-to-date view of your finances so we can provide specific advice to you. This Fact-Finding stage typically includes the collection of income details, debts, superannuation, shares, insurances, property, managed funds, current advisers (e.g. your accountant), Centrelink /Department of Veteran’s Affairs information etc.

Our Client Services Team are experts at managing this collection process at minimal effort from you.

Once this Fact-Finding is complete, your adviser will thoroughly research and prepare specific financial advice that is in your best interests.  Depending on the scope of advice outlined in the Engagement Proposal, this advice may include a detailed financial strategy with step-by-step actions towards your goals, or a financial product recommendation (such as a managed fund, superannuation fund or insurance product) that addresses your unique needs.

AT ALL TIMES you remain in control of your finances. We simply require view-only access to enable us to properly advise you.

STEP 4. Implementation and Administration

Our Service Team helps with the implementation, administration and ongoing management of all accepted recommendations. You will need to complete some limited paperwork but otherwise, we’ll look after everything and keep you informed throughout the process.

STEP 5. Ongoing Review

As a client of HPH Solutions, you can call or email your financial planner or our Service Team at any time. The best chance you have of achieving your financial goals is when you keep us informed of any changes in your life which may impact your finances.  As a minimum, we invite you to attend at least one face-to-face review each year.
