Strategic financial planning is about advancing toward future goals by implementing specific "tactics" or immediate actions today. These tactics may include:
- Make tax-deductible contributions to super
- Borrow to invest in growth assets
- Transfer non-super assets into super
- Minimise capital gains tax on asset sales
- Convert your super to a retirement income stream (pension)
- Restructure assets to increase Centrelink entitlements
We begin the strategic planning process by examining your current financial status and helping you to set and prioritise your financial goals. Once your goals have been set and we know the time and resources available, we formulate one or more strategies that are specifically designed to achieve your goals. Our recommendations are then documented and presented to you as your strategic financial plan. Your plan includes a step-by-step action plan and subject to your agreement, we help you implement the recommendations and support your progress with regular reviews.
